They are compatible with all mattresses up to 8.5” thick, ensuring a minimum 220mm above mattress at all times, without the need for side rail height extensions. Allowing a much greater height above the mattress than 2 bar side rails, these 3 bar side rails also drop down well below the mattress to facilitate bed egress.
The 3 bar steel side rails automatically extend by 150mm when the mattress platform is extended, without the need for an extension kit.
